Meeting for Sweatfree Portland!!

When: Monday, June 19th

Where: PCASC Office
616 E. Burnside

Join the Portland Sweatfree Coalition and help re-launch a campaign to
pass a city-wide ordinance to end taxpayer subsidization of the city?s
sweat shops contractors and subcontractors.  Our city can ensure living
wages and fair working conditions for those who produce goods for us.   To
do so, we must form a strong coalition of members and leaders of the
Portland community to convince city hall that we are a community that
upholds labor rights and cares about the responsible use of our tax
dollars.  Similar ordinances have passed in San Francisco, L.A. and 26
other cities.  Can we be next?

you would like to get involved, now is the time to plug in.
