Was once called FruityLoops, is now FL Studio.  It's looked down upon by a
lot of people.  I say it doesn't deserve its bad rep all that much.  It's
intuitive, great for EDM newbies, and is not nearly as inflexible as people
say it is.  My main problem with it is that once you've mastered the basics,
you'll run into certain things that aren't satisfactory.  Like automation.
I got pretty frustrated trying to automate MIDI parameters longer than say 4
bars or so; it's very loop-friendly, and doesn't seem to be encourage you
drawing things out.  With that said, drawn out automation *is *possible,
just very tedious as you're kind of using it
