there is indeed loads of samples on the net. most highhats/ snares/ rides
etc are pretty standard and can also be used for psytrance. For kicks you
could try isratrance forum. It ll have a topic somewhere with a link to many
kickdrums. And also explanations about how to create them.

For snares i have found battery to be quite useful. It has a little fx unit
where you can adjust the sound of your snare to suit the track. Bitreduction
for example can help to give it a little punch.
