[Dream] Drums - sampled? - Sound Forge

lolo... that's how i got my first kick, a great one.
today i make my kicks, mostly using pitch envelopes.
i have no trouble finding shaker and hats samples that fit, but i find very
hard to get a good snare... any sugestions?
for snares usually i use some sample and then HP it and apply resonance...
(or eq with low cut and a litle bost where i find it sounds better).
