[Dream] How to destroy a computer?

Yeah, I heard about that static problem.  I have no reason to think it, just
because it's not like it happens as soon as I touch it or anything.  It'll
happen without touching it at all, or after I've been touching it for a
while.  Not in "that way" though.

That sounds like a great idea, but the thing is, I have a feeling that the
reason it's shutting off is precisely because of the heating.  I understand
that when the motherboard detects a certain temperature it prompts a sudden
shutoff, to avoid precisely that kind of damage.  Any input on that?  OTOH,
that kind of treatment can't possibly be good for the computer either.  :)
Shouldn't affect the warranty details either.  So I'll give that a try as
soon as it gets back from the shop!
