[Dream] Cheap soundcard recommendations?

realistically, i believe it'll be a while before the music-making community
switches to Vista.  my computer is fast under XP, but would barely cut it
for vista... and personally i see NO advantages to switching.  NONE.  so
Vista drivers is a non-issue for me :)

Well, M-Audio's driver development for Vista has been a complete
disaster. On the one and only page they have on Vista support they
both boast about having worked directly with Microsoft to prepare for
Vista, *and* inform you that they can't tell you when they'll have the
drivers ready. We're in March, fer crying out loud. Anyway - I don't
care, cause I ordered my new system two days ago, and I managed to get
it with XP pro, so I couldn't care less about Vista support right now.
