[Dream] Cheap soundcard recommendations?

folks - thanks for all your recommendations, that's what i call team work!
i was very interested in the E-mu 0404, the onboard DSP sounded neat and it
is indeed cheap. but then i remembered it's an e-mu (questionable drivers
and support) and the real deal-breaker is that the analog ins and outs are
unbalanced. i need to plug in the balanced outs from my mixer, and the
card's outs will go to my balanced monitors... so the m-audio audiophile
192, for a $30-40 more, wins that battle. a great suggestion, just doesn't
fit my setup.
the focusrite saffire looks like it would fit the bill, along the same
lines are the presonus firebox. cheers chris! must investigate further...
thanks again :)

I am fairly happy with my EMU 0404 - if your looking cheap, this is
definitely the best bang for your buck.
