Ah, I like this. That's close to how I want to sound, but I don't think
could get as discordant or chaotic as some parts of this. The nicer
parts for me are the funky/groovy bits which have clear phrases and a
punchy rhythmic edge, rather than the bits with multiple layers of
really frantic sounds. Plus there's plenty of breaks in it to keep me
interested!

I haven't actually heard any new Psytance for about a year, apart from
what I've heard at parties or online radio. I like stuff by Setherian,
Nocturna, U-recken, Theoreme, Sirius Isness, Liquid Space and loads of
others I can't think of. But there's also loads of others which I just
find really boring. And I don't want to be part of the boring crowd
with my own music - so I've still got plenty to learn!

I've been having a lot of fun putting together my newest creation 'The
Fuzz', or 'no 22' as it's called on my MySpace page at
http://www.myspace.com/kudosfreaksout. I came up with my cheekiest
synthline ever (or is that the most annoying? let me know!), and I think
this is the kind of feeling I want my tracks to have. I like being
different, so I don't really want to emulate anyone else musically, I
just want to get the same level of *quality* of production and use the
right techniques.

Olly
