[Dream] help, my "sound" pc stopped working... what to do?

So, first off, I doubt that a cmos jump will do it.

I am pretty sure that on that board (I have an old a7a266) the cmos jump
is two little sauder nubs instead of full pins like they usually are,
and they are right by the battery.

Those boards try to protect themselves, so if they feel the slightest
power fluctuation (or say, you put too awesome of a processor in there)
they shut off and disable themselves.

Try this, this should reset it.

Shut off the machine (sounds like it already is)
unplug the machine from the wall
pull the cmos batt
leave for 10 seconds (but hell, I can't count 10 seconds, so... go grab
a beer from the fridge, pour it in a nice frosty glass)
put batt back in
plug back in
power on
drink frosty beer
