[Dream] help, my "sound" pc stopped working... what to do?

hi!

i'm a bit worried now.


my main PC, the one i use for sound production, stopped working.

I've already disconnected everything to try to spot the flawed component.

i've left only the PSU, motherboard and processor connected but when i turn
the power on it just sits there with the HD acess light lit :(

any ideias? it must be the processor/motherboard problem, it's an ASUS
running a AMD XP 2100 processor


money is so short, i cant afford to buy a new processor motherboard combo


hope it starts running again by miracle or something :|



any sugestions?
