[Dream] Avoided Pentagon crash - Phew!

I already lost 3 hours of changes to my project in SX3 tonight, as
Pentgon decided to cause the whole of SX3 to hang just as a turned an EQ
knob. The audio drivers were screwed as well so it meant a complete
reboot to get back...

...2 hours later I'm back to point where I was just before I lost my
work, so I save....then go to Pentagon and turn that EQ knob and it
crashes again!

This time, when I opened the project, It opens up all the open stuff
like mixer, Instrument panel, and plugins including the Pentagon, at
which point it hangs again...

'oh shit', I thought.

That file I saved was the only copy of the changes I made back in
January - the next earliest backup was November!

Then I had a brainwave....to load the project without loading the
Pentagon. So I renamed the Pentagon DLL, and restarted Cubase, and my
project loaded fine - It just moaned about Pentagon being missing, but
it loaded so I saved the project to a new file, renamed the Pentagon DLL
back again, and the newly saved project loaded fine with not even the
Pentagon settings missing, which was nice.

Back to the music anyway...

Olly
