News: Just got my Behringer UCA202 it's a USB audio in+out - 48Khz, and 
I realised the minimum latency is relative to the CPU or FSB speed - I 
think.  Anything too low results in crackle/noise. The old P4 2.4Ghz 
couldn't handle less than the audiophile 2946 had (about 8ms), so I 
couldn' be bothered to turn buffer size up to find a working level.  On 
AMD X2 5200+ the UCA202 works as low as 4ms.  Crap frequency response 
(not as bassey and trebley as the audiophile 2496) but great sound!!
