[Dream] Preamp Q

So I'm hoping to record some sound in a variety of places and I I'm looking
around for a cheap mobile preamp.  Not trying to make anything loud, just
something to increase the voltage and resolution of the sound so that it's
listenable.  Please keep an open mind, I understand that for many of us,
equipment that's actually affordable is something to be frowned upon :-P
