[Dream] Recording automation in Live?

Thanks for the reply. I sorted stuff out yesterday. Well, *sort of.* I
updated the firmware on my BCR, and now Live detects it fine, but I
have no idea how to map it out like I did with my Axiom (which now
works perfectly fine, btw! =) - because Behringer's edit application
is a .jar file, which is a zip format, and can't be run as a separate
app, as far as I can tell. All I can do is open it with my zip app.
The reason why I wanted to get the BCR up and running was mostly that
its rotaries are much easier on the fingers than the ones on the
Axiom, but I simply assigned the same values to the Axiom's faders,
which are much smoother, so I'm a happy camper now.

I tried asking on the Ableton forums, but didn't get any replies -
maybe I asked the question a little too soon, though. I could have
tried a bit more on my own first. =) I did read that some people had
some qualms about MIDI recording in the session view, or something,
but it seems to work just the way I would expect it to in arrangement,
which is probably what I'll use the most anyway, as I'm so accustomed
to that way of working. Live + Reason = The shit!
