I don't think it's a hardware issue.  Other programs run fine.
Perhaps these applications are more bloated running on a Mac because
they were originally written for Windows.  Not that is any excuse.
I'd consider a PC if I could run a different OS, but Windows is an
evil circus where the elephants shit on you and the clowns touch your
penis.
