[Dream] Recording automation in Live?

I realised that I could get a sweet deal on an upgrade from Live Lite
4 to the full version of Live 6, so I plunged into it, and bought the
download version. I have to say that Live rocks, and rewiring Live and
Reason seems like the ideal setup for me - in theory.

However, I can't seem to figure out how to set up my controllers to
work properly with Live. First of all, Live only detects my Axiom 61
properly. My Behringer BCR2000 does not show up  in the preferences,
although turning knobs on it can affect e.g. a VST. The Axiom works
semi-okay when rewired to Reason, in that various controls don't
necessarily produce the same effect as in Reason in standalone mode -
but Live doesn't seem to want to record fader and knob adjustments.
Keys and pitch/mod wheels record and automate fine, but nothing else
seems to work, even though adjusting knobs and faders affect the
Reason devices more or less the way they're supposed to. Drawing
automation envelopes works fine, but not turning those knobs. And I
really need my knobs.

In theory, I could assign my controllers to Reason only, and work with
two sequencers, but, first of all, I want to keep it all in one
sequencer, and second, only the Axiom works in Reason when Reason is
rewired - the BCR gets disabled, for some reason.
